Life on tour

Well said humans reading this post,  long time no see.  For a few moments I had forgotten I even had a blog,  but here it is as I’ve stumbled upon it yet again.  This time I’ll take a little dip into how your life has been treating me in this seasons cycle.

Well it all started in Ellenton, Florida. Which consisted of long... LONG days that we’re full of learning,  physical pain, laughter and over all uniqueness and I wouldn’t change it for the world! Being apart of this building experience is one I’ll save for the books,  and I’ll tell you it helped being surround by such amazing people!
Sadly our first 3 weeks were canceled to due that bitch Irma,  but it brought us to a spontaneous getaway in New Orleans “after an 18hr bud ride” ,  which if any of you have been there you know it was a fantastic non memorable time!  Pictured above are my friends Etienne, Rachy, Sari and someone else I can seem to tell who it is.  Yes I do have friends mom and dad,  as well getting to meet the voice of Moana as she came to see our show In Nework, NJ.  That was pretty cool as I sang at the top of my lungs in our Moana village number.

Anyways after our 3 weeks break at home we were brought back to tour in Farefax, Virginia!  We then proceeded to stumble around Baltimore “where I got to see Halsey and Charlie XcX lov” Hershey, worshchester and then onto The New York Area for the months of November.  New York will always be a favourite city of mine as you feel like the possibilities are endless,  and I will tell you they were!  From visits with my parents and friends from home,  to tipsy nights at 4am around Times Square,  weekend cottage getaways and broadways shows!  My time in New York was unforgettable and I got the chance to meet some amazing people and build new fantastic friendships #GurtLife overall New York was one for the books and I had the most amazing time!  But my sleep cycle and liver were happy to move onto North Carolina for a few weeks post New York.  The weeks in North Carolina were relaxed in its own sense, I got to watch my Disney On Ice show and I’ll tell you it’s auite amazing “not trying to promote it” but legit,  it’s sweet!
In Fayetteville, NC we had our “Late” opening night party,  which for me is always a great time having a reason to dress up! It was nice being together as a tour family to celebrate the rest of the year coming!

“Late”. Opening party was a total success! Above are photos of just a few people who make this tour a family,  from the Gurts, to the partner,  to everyone in between!  I feel lucky and blessed to be around such beautiful and creative people
Inside and out!
Currently I’m in Cleveland performer our last few shows after our lengthily 18 pack we had over the holidays In Philadelphia.  As cheesy as it sounds I’m waking up every day with a new found positivity and drive to achieve the goals I’ve set for myself and to make the best of my life along this journey!  I’m looking forward to what 2018 has in store for me and the shananigans it has to offer to my “Tall 6’4” self.
